Lumbee Prophecy
A PROPHETIC WORD TO THE LUMBEE NATION
“FROM BRICKMAKERS TO POSSESSORS”
Thus saith the Lord:
I have heard the cry of My people.
I have seen the years of labor. I have seen the hands stretched forth to build while others enjoyed the houses. I have seen those who made the bricks but were never permitted to dwell in the buildings they constructed.
But the season is changing.
For I am calling My people out of Egypt.
You have been useful but not free. You have been productive but not possessors. You have carried burdens that were never intended to become your inheritance.
But hear the word of the Lord:

The brickmaking season is coming to an end.
You shall no longer spend all of your strength building Pharaoh's kingdom while your own inheritance remains untouched.
I am bringing you out—not merely out of Egypt, but into promise.
For there is a difference between being delivered from something and possessing what God has promised.
Israel came out of Egypt in one night, but it took a journey to get Egypt out of Israel.
And I say to the Lumbee Nation:
Do not mistake the wilderness for your destination.
The wilderness is not your inheritance.
The wilderness is where I teach former slaves how to walk like sons and daughters of promise.
You have been brickmakers long enough.
You have been making other people's dreams possible while wondering when your own dream would come to pass.
But I declare over you:
From brickmakers to builders. From builders to owners. From owners to possessors. From surviving to establishing.
What your fathers could not possess, I am putting before your generation.
What was inaccessible shall become accessible.
What was forbidden shall become available.
What was spoken of only as promise shall become something your hands can touch.
For I did not bring you out to leave you empty.
I brought you out to bring you in.
Egypt gave you bricks, but I am giving you land.
Egypt gave you quotas, but I am giving you purpose.
Egypt demanded your labor, but I am giving you inheritance.
Egypt called you servants, but I am calling you possessors of promise.
THE VISION OF THE FOUR PILLARS
And then, in the language of vision, I saw the region at night.
The earth was dark, but the darkness was not empty.
And suddenly I saw four great pillars of fire standing over the region—one toward each direction, as though four witnesses had been stationed at the boundaries of an appointed territory.
They were not flames consuming the land.
They were flames marking it.
And between the four pillars there appeared to be a territory surrounded by light.
Then I heard within the vision:
“I have marked this region for visitation.”
And the four pillars stood like sentinels.
One spoke of awakening.
One spoke of restoration.
One spoke of inheritance.
And one spoke of sending.
And I understood in the vision that something had been appointed concerning this region that could not be understood merely by looking at what presently exists.
For Heaven sometimes marks a place before Earth recognizes what has been marked.
THE ALTAR GUARDED BY ANGELS
Then the vision changed.
And in the center of the four pillars, I saw an altar.
It was an ancient-looking altar, yet there was something about it that belonged to the future.
Upon the altar rested oil.
And the oil seemed to glow.
Then I saw what appeared in the vision to be angels standing around the altar, as guardians around something sacred.
And I heard:
“The altar of anointing has been guarded.”
What men thought had disappeared had only been hidden.
What generations thought had been lost had been preserved.
What looked buried had been waiting.
And the angels stood as watchers around the altar, as though Heaven were saying:
(The Faithful Shall See This Altar)
“This belongs to an appointed hour.”
Then I saw the oil begin to move.
First it moved upon the altar.
Then it reached the edge.
Then a single drop fell upon the ground.
And where the oil touched the earth, the ground began to tremble.
Then another drop fell.
And another.
Until the oil began running from the altar toward the four pillars.
And I heard:
“The anointing shall touch the boundaries.”
THERE IS A WELL BENEATH THE WELL
Then beneath the altar I heard another sound.
Water.
And I understood:
There was a well beneath the altar.
A well beneath the well.
A river beneath the history.
A mystery beneath what could be seen with natural eyes.
There were prayers buried there.
There were tears buried there.
There were cries from generations whose names the present generation may never know.
But Heaven remembered every one.
Some prayers became seeds. Some tears became rivers. Some promises went underground.
And suddenly I understood that what looked like dry ground was not dry at all.
There was water underneath it.
And the Lord said:
“DIG AGAIN.”
For the well of revival is soon to open.
And when it opens, old prayers shall meet new voices.
The prayers of grandparents shall appear as answers in grandchildren.
Things planted in one generation shall break through the earth in another.
And people shall ask:
“Where did this come from?”
And the answer shall be:
“It was here all along.”
For what Earth calls suddenly, Heaven may call generations.
THE WELL OF PROSPERITY
Then I saw another stream joining the first.
And I heard:
“A well of prosperity shall open beside the well of revival.”
Not prosperity merely for consumption.
Prosperity for establishment.
Prosperity to build.
Prosperity to own.
Prosperity to create.
Prosperity to educate.
Prosperity to establish businesses, ministries, homes and inheritances that can pass from generation to generation.
And then I saw something strange.
Bricks began turning into keys.
And I heard:
“Yesterday they carried bricks for another man's kingdom. Tomorrow they shall carry keys to what I have placed before them.”
Keys to doors.
Keys to houses.
Keys to businesses.
Keys to opportunities.
Keys to places previous generations saw but could not enter.
And some shall stand inside things their ancestors could only pray about.
And tears shall fall as they realize:
“I am standing inside somebody else's prayer.”
THE PROPHET WHO SHALL BE SENT
Then my attention returned to the altar.
The four pillars were still burning.
The angels were still standing around the altar.
The well was flowing beneath it.
But there was an empty place beside the altar.
And I wondered within the vision:
“Lord, why is this place empty?”
And I heard:
“Because I have reserved it for one whom I shall send.”
And then I perceived the figure of a messenger approaching from a distance.
I could not see the face.
I could not determine the name.
And I understood that the hidden face itself was part of the mystery.
For the emphasis was not upon the name of the prophet, but upon the God who sends the prophet.
And I heard:
“I am preparing to send a prophet after My own heart.”
Not one who comes merely seeking a platform.
Not one who comes merely seeking recognition.
Not one who comes to make merchandise of the people.
But one who will weep between the porch and the altar.
One who will love the people enough to speak truth.
One who will recognize the ancient well.
One who will understand the altar.
One who will point the people beyond himself and back toward God.
And I heard:
“Do not look merely for charisma. Look for the heart.”
For the true sign of the messenger shall not simply be how loudly he speaks, but where he points the people.
And the messenger shall say:
“The well does not belong to me. The altar does not belong to me. The people do not belong to me. They belong to the Lord.”
And when the appointed messenger meets the appointed altar, and the appointed generation begins digging the appointed well, something that has remained beneath the surface shall begin to rise.
LUMBEE, ARISE
Lumbee, arise.
Take up your mantle.
Take up your courage.
Take up your vision.
Take up your inheritance.
The Red Sea is behind you.
The wilderness is beneath your feet.
The Promised Land is before you.
And the well is beneath you.
There are four pillars standing in the vision.
There is an altar of anointing in the midst.
There are angelic watchers around the sacred place.
There is water moving beneath the ground.
There is oil upon the altar.
And there is a messenger approaching whose face, for now, remains hidden.
Something is moving beneath what can presently be seen.
The ground is beginning to tremble.
The ancient well is stirring.
The oil is beginning to flow.
The brickmaking season is ending.
From brickmakers to possessors. From bricks to keys. From buried wells to living waters. From bondage to inheritance. From survival to establishment. From memory to manifestation.
And the word of the Lord is:
“Go in and possess it.”
Do not wait until every enemy disappears.
Do not wait until everything makes sense.
Do not mistake the wilderness for the destination.
Dig again.
For there is water beneath your feet.
Build again.
For there is inheritance before you.
Pray again.
For there is oil upon the altar.
Believe again.
For what appeared buried has not been forgotten.
And what one generation buried in tears, another generation shall uncover with joy.
Lumbee, the well is opening.
Revival is rising.
Prosperity is stirring.
Inheritance is calling.
The altar is waiting.
And the mystery is beginning to unfold.
From brickmakers to possessors.
And what I have begun, I will finish.
Thus saith the Lord.
