The Isles of The Sea Wait For Me.

By Dr. Phil Spears

There is a stirring in the Spirit today, a whisper that comes like the gentle lapping of waves against the shore: “The isles of the sea wait for you.” This is not just a poetic line; it is a prophetic word for every believer who feels the weight of the world pressing in. God is calling His children to places of purpose, to shores that are ready for the seeds of His Kingdom to be planted.

The “isles of the sea” represent more than distant lands. They symbolize those places in our hearts, communities, and nations where His presence is yet to be fully realized. Just as the Apostle Paul carried the Gospel across seas, so too are we called to step out beyond the familiar, beyond the harbor of comfort, and trust the wind of the Spirit to carry us.

Too often, we hesitate. We look at the waves and think, “I cannot cross that. I am not ready. I am not enough.” But God reminds us today: the islands wait for you—not because of your strength, but because of His promise. He has already prepared the path, charted the waters, and lit the way. The isles are not waiting for your perfection; they are waiting for your obedience.

Obedience is the key that unlocks the supernatural. When Jonah finally obeyed and went to Nineveh, a city steeped in sin, the word of the Lord moved mightily. When Paul obeyed, the Gospel spread to lands he had never dreamed of reaching. And today, the Spirit is calling each of us to set sail in faith, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain.

As you prepare for your journey, remember three things:

  1. Trust God’s Timing: The waves may roar, but the Lord’s timing is perfect. He calms the storm when we surrender our schedule to His will.

  2. Step Boldly: Fear is a tide that seeks to hold us back. Step forward anyway. Boldness in faith opens doors that logic cannot.

  3. Carry His Light: Wherever you go, you are God’s ambassador. Your words, prayers, and acts of love are lighthouses in the darkness.

The isles of the sea are not just physical lands—they are opportunities, missions, hearts, and communities waiting for the love and power of Jesus to arrive. Today, take a step. Let go of doubt. Step onto the waters of faith.

The Spirit whispers again: “I have prepared the way. Go. The isles wait for you.”

Do not delay. The time is now. The harvest is ready. And the islands—the places He has been calling you to—wait.
